Kitchens

A great kitchen is a thousand small decisions. We bring the joinery designer, hold the appliance brief, manage the plumbing and electrical changes, and fit it ourselves so the doors close flush and the drawers run true.

02Where the value sits

Joinery made properly

Custom cabinetry from a joinery shop we have worked with for years. Built here, warranted here. No flat-pack, and no compromise on hinges or runners.

Benchtop selection with you

We will take you to the stone yard, or work to a spec you already have. Quartz, granite, marble or sintered surface, templated to the cabinetry as built rather than as drawn.

Appliances handled

Brief us on what you want. We coordinate delivery, plumb and wire to the manufacturer's specification, and commission everything on handover day.

Weeks, not months

A standalone kitchen runs a few weeks on site once the cabinetry is built. We give you a date and we hold it.

03Common questions

Worth knowing
before you ring

How long is a kitchen renovation?

From design sign-off, expect six to ten weeks: four to six for the cabinetry to be built, then three to four weeks on site. We run those in parallel where the job allows.

Can you work with my own kitchen designer?

Yes, happily. We review the design for constructability, flag anything that will cause trouble on site, and quote the build to those drawings.

What appliance brands do you work with?

All the mainstream brands supplied in New Zealand, and specialist imports if you have already arranged supply. Tell us what you have chosen and we will fit it.

Do we need a building consent for a kitchen?

Only if we are moving structural walls or significantly reconfiguring the plumbing. A like-for-like replacement does not need one. We will tell you on the first visit which side of the line you are on.
