before you ring
How is project management priced?
Either a fixed management fee on top of the build cost, or a margin on the trades, whichever is fairer for the scope. We show you both on the quote and you choose.
Can you take over a project that has already started?
Yes, though it is harder. We would want a meeting with the previous builder, an inspection of the work to date, and a written scope of what remains. If we do not think stepping in makes sense, we will tell you.
What if I want to use my own subcontractors?
That is fine. If you have a tiler you have used for years, we will work with them. We just need the same agreement on programme and quality that we have with our own trades.
How far do you travel for project management?
Franklin, South Auckland and North Waikato. Past that the travel cost stops making sense for you, and we would rather say so than pad a quote.
